Saturday 18th – Saturday 25th October 2025

Turkey is our destination in October 2025, where we will visit the seven churches addressed in Revelation chapters 2 & 3. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit this beautiful part of the world and to step back in time to the era of the early church. The persecution at that time brings home the faithfulness of God in the face of opposition and as we visit we will be challenged about our own faith. The archeology and history of the area will come alive as we picture how things might have been for those early Christians. The Bible will mean so much more as we experience something of the context of parts of the New Testament.

Highlights will include the magnificent Ephesus which is extensive in its scope. We will also visit the remains of the other seven churches of Smyrna, Pergamon, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. We will include a visit to Colossae which is nearby to Hierapolis, and also Miletus where St Paul bade an emotional farewell to the leaders of the Ephesian church after his extensive ministry there. There will be some leisure time in Kusadasi including a boat trip around the bay on the final morning before we return home. We will also include some extra visits including Pamukkale – the “cotton castles” created by carbonate mineral deposits flowing from hots springs, and will have an opportunity to enjoy a natural thermal pool nearby.
Our trips are marked with great fellowship and a chance to gain new friends and meet old ones as well. We will share bible reflections at the important sites we visit and our local guide will offer us a rich background to each visit with their expert knowledge and professional training.
